During the week I work as a Security Engineer at Atlassian.
During the weekend, I do wedding photography and event production stuff, or catch up on sleep!
The rest of my life is basically a mixture of software, audio, lighting, video, photos, computer networks, and security.
I studied Computer Engineering at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
Formerly I did Electrical Engineering, but I eventually found myself more fascinated with hardware design (and I hate maths).
I wrote a thesis about hacking into robotic vacuum cleaners, if you want to read that!
I make and break things - though mainly the latter…
My interests lie in network technologies, multimedia systems and dev o(o)ps - though realistically the reason I write software is so that I don’t have to pay for them.
I also supposedly do something involved with cyber security, but let’s keep that a … c2VjcmV0== … between you and me 🕵️♀️

When I’m not doing wedding photography, you can probably find me standing in the exact same spot for hours upon hours capturing the landscapes.
That, or… looking like a lunatic carrying around a bunch of random lights for some creative portraits or light paintings.
“Camera 2, iris up.” × “Is this thing on?”
I’m one of those people who you don’t know exist, until we mess up.
Whilst there’s no hope for me in front of a camera or microphone, I can sure make the talent look and sound good!
From corporate events like conferences, to weddings, to concerts, theatre and festivals - I mainly work as a live sound engineer (mixing audio) and broadcast engineer (video production and livestreaming), but basically I’m a “jack of all trades, master of none some”.
I also do some local systems integrations for churches and venues, if you need help with that..
When I was younger I was forced to learn piano, then I was forced to learn clarinet, and then I was forced to learn saxophone.
I don’t remember how to play any of them, but these days I own an unhealthy number of guitars..
Sports? Table Tennis, and going on hikes/walks (if you consider that a sport…)
Sleep deprived? Absolutely.
Hotel? Trivago.
