Various types of EM waves make up the EM spectrum.

As it is a range, there is no sharp division between one kind of EM wave and another

 

The types of EM waves are categorised by their frequency/wavelength

 

Radio Waves - m to m

Microwaves - m to 0.3m

Infrared Waves - m to m

Visible Light -  (violet) to m (red)

Ultraviolet Light - m to m

X-Rays - m to m

Gamma Rays - m to m
