When does the output distort?

 

Output Saturation Voltage

There is a limit to what the output can produce (ie the power supplied to the op-amp).

The output signal is considered to "clip"

 

 

 

Output Current Limit

The feedback resistor draws some current, reducing the maximum current into

 

 

 

Slew Rate

The slew rate is the limit to which the op-amp can respond to a change in voltage over a time period.
