Voltage Division
A voltage divider divides a voltage in proportion to the series resistance
﷐𝑉﷮𝑥﷯=﷐𝑉﷮𝑡﷯⋅﷐﷐𝑅﷮𝑥﷯﷮﷐𝑅﷮𝑡﷯﷯
Where﷐𝑉﷮𝑥﷯ - Voltage of the element
﷐𝑅﷮𝑥﷯ - Resistance of the element
﷐𝑉﷮𝑡﷯ - Total voltage
﷐𝑅﷮𝑡﷯ - Total resistance

Current Division
Divides the current amongst parallel resistors in inverse proportion to the total resistance
﷐𝐼﷮𝑥﷯=﷐𝐼﷮𝑡﷯⋅﷐﷐𝑅﷮𝑡﷯﷮﷐𝑅﷮𝑥﷯﷯
Where
﷐𝐼﷮𝑥﷯ - Voltage of the element
﷐𝑅﷮𝑥﷯ - Resistance of the element
﷐𝐼﷮𝑡﷯ - Total voltage
﷐𝑅﷮𝑡﷯ - Total resistance
